When you contact the White
Letting office with your request, you will be allocated
a job number. Please quote this reference if making any
enquiries relating to the maintenance.
Please bear in mind that
if your request is for a general improvement to the property,
permission from your landlord may have to be sought first.
For instance, this would apply to the supply of extra
furniture, the removal of any items, or something that
was not supplied or agreed to be supplied at the time
when you signed the tenancy agreement. If the Landlord
does not agree to the work or its cost, unfortunately
we will not be able to carry out the improvement. Do remember
that we will always try to be fair to both parties when
negotiating or requesting improvements.
Our own maintenance staff
and regular contractors will usually be given keys to
your property. However, they will always ring the door
bell first and if there is no answer, will enter and carry
out the work. If this is unacceptable to you and you wish
to be present during the visit, please contact us to make
this request.
